Phillip Randazzo is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nevada Benefits Corporation, one of Nevada's leading insurance brokerages and financial advisors.
Phil started his insurance career in 1991 as an agent for Northwestern Mutual Life, noted by Forbes Magazine as one of North America's most admired insurance companies. During his tenure at Northwestern Mutual Life, Phil discovered one of the key issues facing business owners was the management of their employee benefits packages. Phil submerged himself in research of the health insurance industry, health plans and alternative insurance markets. In 1992, Phil relocated his family to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he met Mrs. Trish Colletti. The two shared a dream to create an insurance brokerage of their own to service businesses and individuals looking for creative solutions for health insurance and employee benefits. In 1995, Phil established Nevada Benefits Corporation. Phil's philosophy that "People don't just get sick or need assistance Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m" prompted him to service his clientele 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. This exceptional customer service has helped to grow Nevada Benefits Corporation to the multi-faceted agency that it is today, servicing thousands of satisfied clients through referrals and recommendations.
In addition to Nevada Benefits Corporation, Phil started Capital MD as a result of his client's need for assistance with medical billing. Capital MD is a unique medical billing service that pays doctors in full every two weeks for their billed insurance. To date Capital MD has handled over 3.6 million claims.
Phil's greatest strengths are his creativity, drive, leadership and altruism. In March 2003, soon after the start of the War in Iraq, Phil was disheartened over the lack of support for America's service men and women. In response, he created Nevada Benefits Foundation, a private self-funded foundation, with the website defendingfreedom.org. Since its inception, Nevada Benefits Foundation has donated over $1.6 million dollars to the wounded soldiers and their families. This organization has also constructed a memorial located at Red Rock National Conservation Area, honoring fallen soldiers from the State of Nevada. Phil has appeared on Fox News and was recognized by both the United States Congress and Senate for his honorable work through Nevada Benefits Foundation.
Phil was given the key to the City of Las Vegas in March of 2003 and is actively involved in the Las Vegas community serving on the Advisory Board for the YMCA of Southern Nevada.
Phil attended Ball State University and received his MBA from the University of Phoenix. Phil resides in Las Vegas with his wife of 20 years and three incredible children. In his free time, Phil coaches national level club basketball.
N. Chris Lynch, an entrepreneur and business development expert, is President of Nevada Benefits Corporation
Chris started his career in cardiovascular medical sales working with some of the world’s best cardiologists and cardiac surgeons. Chris was a top performer at St. Jude Medical, CryoLife, Carbomedics and CardioGenesis. In a career that spanned 13 years, Chris was directly responsible for creating well over $50 million in revenue.
In 2003 Chris moved his family to Las Vegas to pursue his lifelong dream of owning and running his own business. Chris understands firsthand the opportunities and challenges faced by business owners and physicians. Chris' passion is to help Nevada Benefits customers reach their goals by providing outstanding education and service. Chris is a licensed insurance professional with expertise in Tax-Free retirement, health insurance, life insurance and annuities.
Chris graduated from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business and lives in Las Vegas with his wife and three beautiful children. In his free time you can find him on the tennis court or riding his bicycle in Red Rock Canyon.
Trish Colletti set out in the insurance industry in 1985 as an Associate Agent for a Million Dollar Round Table agent for Northwestern Mutual Life in St. Louis, MO. Soon thereafter, she transferred within the Northwestern Mutual Life Companies in 1992 to Las Vegas, NV as the Administrator for the general agency. It was at this time Trish met Phil Randazzo, who was working as a Northwestern Mutual Life Agent. The two had an immediate connection and put their ideas together about opening a health insurance brokerage of their own.
In 1995, Phil established Nevada Benefits Corporation, and the two left Northwestern Mutual Life Agency to pursue their dream. Trish has been working for Nevada Benefits Corporation ever since. As a team, she and Phil built up the agency from a small client base to a multi-faceted agency with several hundred group accounts and an individual clientele of over 5,000 strong. She and the team have taken the company to top sales with notable agencies like PacifiCare, Humana, Health Plan of Nevada/Sierra Health and United Health One, to name but a few.
Trish is an avid community and animal activist supporting the ASPCA, Italian Greyhound Rescue and Horse Rescue charities. She is settled in Las Vegas with her husband of six years and their three children. When she is not servicing her clients with exceptional customer service, she enjoys spending time in nature riding and giving horseback lessons with her three beautiful horses.
Damari Bermudez has been involved in the insurance industry for over 20 years. Damari started her career in member services at Health Plan of Nevada. Her extensive experience includes auditing member services representatives, premium billing, prescriptions, benefits and claims. She is cross trained to handle PPO and HMO products. While with Sierra Health (a division of Health Plan of Nevada), Damari was honored with multiple Gold & Kudos awards by her employer. In 2003, Damari moved into the brokerage side of the insurance industry, dealing with all major insurance carriers. Damari became LEP certified as a Spanish translator in 2004, which serves as an incredible advantage to her already varied expertise.
Damari joined Nevada Benefits Corporation in 2007 and specializes in claims, benefits and the resolution of client issues. Her "one-on-one" personal approach with clients makes her an invaluable asset to the team.
Damari is an active member of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and was honored for Customer Service Excellence in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Damari's family relocated to Las Vegas in 1970, where she has been a resident ever since. Damari enjoys family time with her two sons and her lovely granddaughter.
Chris Neppes
Marketing
Chris Neppes directs the company's marketing efforts, including strategy, branding, advertising, Web, public relations, promotions, and related technology. He brings to Nevada Benefits over fifteen years of experience building brands and products, developing new markets and strategic alliances, and Web, software and product development expertise. Chris is also the founder of Attention Circle Marketing, a strategic marketing, social media, Web and sales consulting agency based in San Diego, CA.
Prior to Nevada Benefits, Chris directed marketing for HealthFusion.com, stewarding the launch of an Electronic Health Record and Practice Management solution to a strategic partner he helped secure, the American Osteopathic Association, and to doctors across the country. He also served as the Director of Sales and Marketing and is a current board member for Port80 Software, Inc., personally generating $1.5M in sales and crafting a long term partnership with Microsoft Corp. He has worked at technology companies and ad agencies, including Dorland Global/nitrogen in Philadelphia, where he built the healthcare marketing firm's first Web development team in 1999 while boosting sales 250% in two quarters. Chris holds a BA in English from Duke University with a Markets and Management minor, grew up in both the United States and China, and is married with a beautiful new daughter.
